SOLID is a multidisciplinary, annually renewing student team from Eindhoven University of Technology. Founded in 2016, the team has grown rapidly into a large and ambitious organization. Our mission is to further develop our skills, iron fuel technology, and the ecosystem that supports it. Through a wide range of ongoing projects, we actively contribute to accelerating the energy transition. Today, SOLID consists of 40 TU/e students from a broad mix of bachelor’s and master’s programs.

These 40 students are divided into multiple subteams, guided by the management team. SOLID offers a wide variety of opportunities for students who want to get involved. You can choose a role that closely matches your study, such as Mechanical Engineering in System Design or Chemical Engineering in Research and Development, but you are also encouraged to step outside your comfort zone. Studenteam SOLID is the place to develop both technical and soft skills: applying knowledge from textbooks while gaining experience that goes far beyond the lecture hall.

So, where do you see yourself fitting in? Below you can find the current open postitions within SOLID as well as possible bachelor end projects availble at SOLID. Don’t see something you find interesting, apply for a coffee date though “Join our Team” to discuss other possibilities. Intersted in the team of next year see the “Join our Team” page for more information about our application process.
